POLARX officially opened it’s door for business in 2023. It is owned and operated by Tarek Kanso who has a background in restoration, remediation, and commercial cleaning, as well as a passion for vintage autos and the art of restoring equipment, vehicles, machinery, buildings, monuments, heavy equipment, and more.

After doing dry ice blasting as a hobby over the past 10 years, I decided it was time to bring it to the my local community, right here in Portland and Vancouver. I’m honored to serve my local industries and private clients in need of the most efficient, effective, and best method of cleaning and restoration.

POLARX the only fully mobile and dedicated dry ice blasting company in the Portland and Vancouver area, and we are proud to serve our local community and businesses including the cities of Portland, Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield, Washougal, Longview, Oregon City, Lake Oswego, Clackamas, Beaverton, Wilsonville, Hillsboro, Gresham, and everywhere in between.

My company specializes in professional blast cleaning of heavy equipment, construction equipment, food & beverage production and processing, aerospace and marine cleaning and restoration, automotive detailing, general equipment cleaning, mold remediation, smoke and fire damage remediation, product line manufacturing, coffee roasters, brewing and fermentation equipment, architectural restoration including buildings, monuments, and statues; and countless other industries that require regular maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep.

My mobile blasting trailer is equipped with everything needed to not only get the job done, but get it done right the first time. That's why I use only the best equipment available, including the Cold Jet PCS 60 dry ice blaster, the pinnacle of blasting technology. Along with a high-power commercial air compressor, air dryer, and a variety of hoses and nozzles to ensure we have the right tools for any job.

I love what I do and it shows in the quality of work I am able to produce. I’m proud to have built this small business from the ground up and plan to continually grow over time, but the quality of work and dedicated attention to my clients will always remain my top priority.
